Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · 5 October 2026 (05-10-2026)

POINT (PUNTO in Spanish) is a padel scoreboard for Apple Watch and iPhone. This policy explains what data the app handles. It has two very different parts: the scoreboard, which collects no data, and Rooms, an optional mode that needs an account and a cloud service.

In short

1. Who is the controller

2. The scoreboard, without an account

The scoreboard (Apple Watch and iPhone app) asks for no account, does not use your location, has no ads or tracking and sends no data to any server.

Health (watch only, and only if you turn it on)

"Score only" requests no permissions. If you turn on "Record workout", POINT asks for access to Health to read your heart rate and active energy during the match (to show them on the watch and in the summary) and to write the match to Health as a workout. Health data stays in Health, under your control: we do not use it for advertising or profiling, sell it, share it, or send it to Einitia or to any server, Rooms included. You can change or revoke access in iPhone Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.

3. Rooms: what data we process

This part applies only if you use Rooms.

The Apple Watch in a room. If you follow or score a room with your watch, the watch talks directly to the Rooms service (not through the iPhone) while the app is open, using a temporary access your iPhone gives it: limited to that room, valid for up to 4 hours and tied to your account and to the watch installation. It sends the same match data as the iPhone (scoreboard events and the live state) and the service receives, as with any connection, the IP address. The watch keeps that access and the room's names, sent by the iPhone, in its local storage, excluded from backups, and deletes them when you leave the room, sign out or are removed, or when the room is no longer followed (whatever it could not upload stays stored until it uploads or its access expires). Outside a room the watch makes no network connection.

5. What others can see

6. Who receives the data

We do not sell data or use it for advertising. We use no analytics or advertising SDK.

7. International transfers

Although the database and the functions are in the EU, account data (Authentication) and some technical logs may be processed outside the European Economic Area, and Google may access the rest from outside the EEA to operate the service (for example, support and security). These transfers rely on the Firebase Data Processing Terms, which incorporate the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and on Google's participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. How long we keep data

9. Your rights and how to exercise them

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

10. Minimum age

Rooms is for people aged 16 or over. If you think someone under 16 has an account, write to us and we will delete it. The scoreboard without an account collects data from no one, including children.

11. Copies we cannot erase

Even if you delete your account, the app cannot remove:

12. If someone added you as a guest

If someone added you to a room as a guest and you have no account, we received your name from them, not from you. Write to info@einitia.com with the room or link and we will erase or anonymise your name, without you needing to create an account. Your name does not appear on public result pages. If the person who added you had no permission, tell us.

13. Reports and blocks

You can report profiles, members, guests, rooms and shared results, and block other accounts, from the app. We process reports to protect the community (legitimate interests) and keep their record as in section 8. If we take action on your name, we tell you in the app (My profile) with the reason and the date, and you can appeal at info@einitia.com. More in the terms of use.

14. Automated decisions

We make no automated decisions with legal effects about you. A name filter may reject or ask you to change inappropriate names.

15. Security

Data travels encrypted, the database access rules deny by default, the service checks that requests come from the genuine app (App Check) and we limit requests per user. No system is infallible; if a breach affects you, we will inform you as the law requires.

16. Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will notify you in the app before it applies and update the version and date.
